- Straight
- Match all 3 digits in the exact order drawn. A number with three of the same digit, like 111, can only be played Straight.
- Box
- Match all 3 digits in any order. A number with a repeated digit, like 122, is 3-way, and three different digits, like 123, are 6-way: the fewer orders, the bigger the prize.
- Straight/Box
- A 50¢ Straight and a 50¢ Box on the same number, for $1. The exact order wins both prizes, and any other order wins the Box prize.
- Combo
- A Straight on every order of your digits, at 50¢ or $1 each: 3 plays for a 3-way number, 6 for a 6-way. Whichever order is drawn wins one Straight prize.
- Liability limit
- Each number has a limit on what the lottery will pay on it in one drawing. Once a number reaches it, the number is closed for that drawing. The lottery doesn't publish the limit.
- Prizes
- Every prize is a set amount, and the winning plays on a ticket are added together. The rules let a retailer enter other wager amounts by hand, but the lottery publishes prizes for 50¢ and $1 plays only.
- Advance Play
- Play up to 14 Midday or 14 Evening drawings in a row, or 28 of both. A multi-draw ticket skips Sunday's Midday drawing, which isn't held. You can also choose the day of the week your ticket starts.
