    Straight
Match all 4 digits in the exact order drawn.
    Box
Match all 4 digits in any order. How many orders your number has sets the prize: 1222 is a 4-way Box, 1122 6-way, 1233 12-way and 1234 24-way. The fewer orders, the bigger the prize.
    Combo
Indiana calls this a Combo: your wager is split evenly between a Straight and a Box on the same number, so a $1 Combo is a 50¢ Straight and a 50¢ Box. The exact order wins both prizes, and any other order wins the Box prize. A Combo is $1 or more.
    Wheel
Indiana calls this a Wheel: a Straight on every order of your digits, each at your wager, from 4 plays for a 4-way number to 24 for a 24-way. Whichever order is drawn wins one Straight prize.
    1-OFF
Win when your digits match the drawing in exact order, except that one to four of them are one higher or lower than the digit drawn: for 1234, a draw of 1235 is one digit off, 1335 two, 2335 three and 2325 all four. The prize depends on how many digits are off. An exact match wins nothing, and SUPERBALL isn't sold with 1-OFF.
    Front 3 Straight
Pick 3 digits. Win if they match the first 3 of the 4 digits drawn, in exact order. Front 3 can also be played as a Box, Combo or Wheel on those 3 digits.
    Back 3 Straight
Pick 3 digits. Win if they match the last 3 of the 4 digits drawn, in exact order. Back 3 can also be played as a Box, Combo or Wheel on those 3 digits.
    Prizes
Every prize is set: the $1 prize times your wager, or half of it on a 50¢ play. A ticket can win a Daily 4 prize and SUPERBALL prizes on the same drawing. The lottery says prize levels may be paid pari-mutuel in some circumstances.
    Liability limit
Daily 4 pays set prizes, so once the prizes one drawing would owe on a number reach $2 million, the lottery stops selling that number for the drawing.
    SUPERBALL
One SUPERBALL digit is drawn separately at each midday and evening drawing and used by both Daily 3 and Daily 4. It replaces each of the drawn digits in turn to make more winning combinations, while your numbers stay the same. You win a SUPERBALL prize for each combination your play matches, on top of any Daily 4 prize. SUPERBALL costs the same as your wager, covers every play and drawing on the ticket, and isn't sold with 1-OFF.
