- How it works
- Pick 5 different numbers from 1 to 45 for each of a ticket's two plays, sold together for $5. Each play wins on its own, only its highest prize: match 2 to 5 of the 5 numbers drawn, in any order.
- Jackpot
- The jackpot starts at $250,000 and grows each drawing it isn't won, until a play matches all 5 numbers. Winning plays share it equally, and it's paid in one lump sum, with no annuity.
- Prizes
- A $5 ticket is two plays, each its own set of 5 numbers, and each play wins on its own, only its highest prize. Prizes below the jackpot are set amounts: $1,000 for 4 numbers, $20 for 3 and $5 for 2. If a drawing's set prizes cost more than the money set aside for them, they're paid pari-mutuel and can come out lower. The odds here are for one play. Wyoming prints its odds for a $5 ticket of two plays, so its figures are about half these: 1 in 3,054.65 for $1,000, against 1 in 6,108.80 for one play.
