- Straight
- Match all 4 digits in the exact order drawn.
- Box
- Match all 4 digits in any order. The fewer orders your number has, the bigger the prize: 1222 is a 4-way Box, 1122 a 6-way, 1233 a 12-way and 1234 a 24-way.
- Straight/Box
- Half the wager plays Straight and half plays Box, on the same 4-, 6-, 12- or 24-way number, for $1 to $5 in whole dollars. The exact order wins both prizes, and any other order wins the Box prize.
- Combo
- Plays your digits Straight in every order on one ticket, at 50¢ or $1 each: from 4 plays for a number like 1222 to 24 for four different digits like 1234. Whichever order is drawn wins one Straight prize.
- Front Pair
- Pick 2 digits, printed as 12XX. Win if they match the first 2 digits drawn, in exact order.
- Split Pair
- Pick 2 digits, printed as 1XX2. Win if they match the first and last digits drawn, in exact order.
- Back Pair
- Pick 2 digits, printed as XX12. Win if they match the last 2 digits drawn, in exact order.
- Prizes
- Every Play4 prize is a set amount, paid in one lump sum, and rises with the wager: a $1 play pays twice the 50¢ prize, and a $5 play ten times it. Each play wins only its highest prize, plus any Wild Ball prizes.
- Liability limit
- The lottery won't pay out more than $7,950,000 on any one number in a drawing. Once a number reaches that, its sales are limited for that drawing, so a favorite number can sell out.
- Wild Ball
- One Wild Ball digit from 0 to 9 is drawn right after each Play4 drawing. It can stand in for any one of the 4 winning digits to make new winning numbers, while the numbers on your ticket stay the same. You win a Wild Ball prize for each new winning number your play matches, on top of any base prize, from Wild Ball's own prize table. Wild Ball doubles the cost of the play and is added when you buy.
