    How it works
Pick 6 different numbers from 1 to 48, sold two plays for $1. Match 3 to 6 of the 6 numbers drawn, in any order, to win.
    Jackpot
The jackpot starts at $1 million and grows by $100,000 each drawing it isn't won, and winning plays share it equally. A winner has 60 days from validating the ticket to choose 30 equal yearly payments or one cash payment of half the advertised jackpot. Without a choice, it's paid yearly. The jackpot is claimed in person at Lottery headquarters in Salem.
    Prizes
The prizes for 5 and 4 matches are pari-mutuel: each is a share of sales, split equally among its winning plays and rounded down to the nearest 10¢, so the amounts shown are estimates. Matching 3 wins a free $1 Megabucks ticket, or $1 by check at Lottery headquarters. Each play wins only its highest prize. The Kicker, $1 more per $1 played, makes the 5- and 4-match prizes about 4 times as much, an estimated $3,200 and $160, and pays $4 for 3 matches instead of a free ticket. It doesn't change the jackpot.
    Advance Play
Play the same numbers for up to 24 drawings in a row at a Lottery terminal, or ask for 26 drawings of a Quick Pick for $25, one drawing free.
