- Straight
- Match all 4 digits in the exact order drawn.
- Box
- Match all 4 digits in any order. How many orders your number has sets the prize: 1112 is 4-way, 1122 is 6-way, 1123 is 12-way and 1234 is 24-way. A number like 1111 can only be played Straight.
- Straight/Box
- A 50¢ Straight and a 50¢ Box on the same number, for $1. It's sold at 50¢ only. The exact order wins both prizes, and any other order wins the Box prize.
- Prizes
- Every Pick 4 prize is a set amount, paid in one lump sum, and a $1 play pays twice what a 50¢ play does, Wild Ball prizes included. Each play wins only its highest prize, plus any Wild Ball prizes. The lottery can change prizes for a while for a promotion.
- Liability limit
- The lottery can stop taking bets on any number or combination of numbers at any time, with or without Wild Ball.
- Wild Ball
- One Wild Ball digit from 0 to 9 is drawn before the Pick games at each Day and Evening drawing, and used by all four of them. It can stand in for any one of the digits drawn to make new winning numbers, while your numbers stay the same. You win a Wild Ball prize for each new winning number it makes, on top of any base prize. Wild Ball doubles the cost of every play on the ticket, for every drawing.
