- 3Choose 50¢ or $1 a play. Straight/Box is $1, and Superbox is 3 or 6 plays.
- 4There's a drawing every night at 8:00 p.m. Play up to 25 in a row.

- Straight
- Match all 3 digits in the exact order drawn.
- Box
- Match all 3 digits in any order. Three different digits, like 537, are a Box that wins on 6 orders. Two the same, like 535, are a 3-Way Box that wins on 3 orders and pays twice as much. A number like 555 can only be played Straight.
- Straight/Box
- A 50¢ Straight and a 50¢ Box on the same number, for $1. The exact order wins both prizes, and any other order wins the Box prize. With two digits the same, like 535, it's a 3-Way Straight/Box.
- Superbox
- Washington calls this a Superbox: a Straight on every order of your digits, at 50¢ or $1 each. Three different digits make 6 plays, $3 or $6, and two the same a 3-Way Superbox of 3 plays, $1.50 or $3. Whichever order is drawn wins one Straight prize.
- Front Pair
- Pick 2 digits. Win if they match the first 2 digits drawn, in exact order.
- Back Pair
- Pick 2 digits. Win if they match the last 2 digits drawn, in exact order.
- Prizes
- Every Pick 3 prize is a set amount, and every winning play is paid in full: prizes aren't shared among winners.
- Advance Play
- You can also buy a ticket for one future drawing, as far ahead as the 25th drawing.
