- Straight
- Match all 3 digits in the exact order drawn.
- Box
- Match all 3 digits in any order. A number with a repeated digit, like 112, is a 3-way box, and three different digits, like 123, a 6-way box: the fewer orders, the bigger the prize.
- 2-Way
- Michigan calls it 2-Way: a $1 bet split into a 50¢ Straight and a 50¢ Box on the same number. The exact order wins both prizes, and any other order wins the Box prize.
- Wheel
- Michigan calls it a Wheel: a 50¢ or $1 Straight on every order of your digits, so a 3-way Wheel costs $1.50 or $3 and a 6-way Wheel $3 or $6. Whichever order is drawn wins one Straight prize.
- 1-Off
- Match all 3 digits in exact order for the 1-Off Straight prize, or win the smaller 1-Off prize when the other digits match in place and one is one up or one down: a bet on 123 also wins on 223, 023, 133, 113, 122 and 124.
- Prizes
- Every Daily 3 prize is a set amount, and a $1 bet pays twice what a 50¢ bet does.
