- How it works
- Pick 5 different numbers from 1 to 40. Match 2 to 5 of the 5 numbers drawn, in any order, to win.
- Jackpot
- The jackpot starts at $50,000 and grows each drawing it isn't won. Winning plays share it equally, and it's paid in one cash payment, with no yearly payments.
- Prizes
- Prizes below the jackpot are set amounts, but in unusual circumstances they can be paid pari-mutuel and come out lower. Matching 2 numbers wins one free Pick 5 Quick Pick for the next drawing, printed when the winning ticket is cashed, and you can't choose its numbers. Each play wins only its highest prize.
