- How it works
- Pick 6 numbers from 1 to 54. Match 3 to 6 of the 6 numbers drawn, in any order, to win, or just 2 with Extra!.
- Jackpot
- The jackpot starts at $5 million and rolls over until someone matches all 6 numbers, and winners share it equally. You choose 30 yearly payments or the Cash Value Option when you buy the ticket. A share whose yearly payments would total $2 million or less is paid as its cash value in one payment.
- Prizes
- The 5-of-6 and 4-of-6 prizes are shares of 2.23% and 3.28% of sales, split equally among their winners and rounded to the nearest dollar, so the amounts shown are estimates. Money not won carries to the next drawing's prize. The $3 prize for 3 of 6 is fixed, and each play wins only its highest prize.
- Extra!
- Extra! adds a set amount to every Lotto Texas prize but the jackpot: $10,000 to the 5-of-6 prize, $100 to 4 of 6 and $10 to 3 of 6, so 3 of 6 pays $13 in all. It also pays $2 for matching 2 of 6, which wins nothing without it.
