    Exact Order
Texas calls it Exact Order. Match all 3 digits in the exact order drawn.
    Any Order
Texas calls it Any Order. Match all 3 digits in any order. A number with a repeated digit, like 112, is 3-way, and three different digits, like 123, are 6-way: the fewer orders, the bigger the prize. A number like 111 has only one order, so play it Exact Order.
    Exact/Any Order
Texas calls it Exact/Any Order: an Exact Order and an Any Order play on the same number, each at the base play, so a 50¢ base play costs $1. The exact order wins both prizes, and any other order wins the Any Order prize. A number like 111 can't be played this way.
    Combo
An Exact Order play on every order of your digits, each at the base play: 3 plays for a 3-way number, 6 for a 6-way, so a 50¢ 6-way Combo costs $3. Whichever order is drawn wins one Exact Order prize.
    Fireball
One FIREBALL digit from 0 to 9 is drawn after each Pick 3 drawing. It replaces each of the 3 winning digits in turn to make new winning numbers, while your numbers stay the same. Each one your play matches is a FIREBALL win, paid on top of any base prize, so one play can win more than once: a $1 Exact Order play on 1-2-3 wins $500 plus $180 when 1-2-3 is drawn with FIREBALL 1. FIREBALL doubles the cost of the play it's added to and can't be bought alone.
    Prizes
Every Pick 3 prize is a fixed amount set by the base play: a $1 play pays twice what a 50¢ play does, up to ten times for $5. Exact/Any Order and Combo cost more than the base play, because they're several plays in one.
    Advance Play
You can buy plays for any of the next 24 drawings, or for up to 24 in a row of one draw time, like 24 Night drawings.
